A writing teacher once told me that writing is acting.

As a copywriter, that could not be more true. I bring years of experience writing advertising across all media and in a wide variety of product categories. Like acting, this requires empathy for each audience but also an openness to speaking in a range of different voices—and platforms. I've written humorous, direct, upscale, dry, technical. Short copy, long copy, medium copy. And I've won awards for it. Of the recent, I'm most proud of a Grand Clio for the Mr. Mercedes Press Kit for AT&T's Audience Network. This project tasked me with writing texts to the press in the style of characters from the Stephen King series. Pure storytelling.

Outside of advertising, I write fiction, poetry, and compose electronic music.
